A rapid and comprehensive method of paint removal
Before we start any paint removal project, an analysis of the existing paint layer is conducted to ascertain the length of the treatment required.
We then apply Tensid’s Tavec multiple layer paint stripper using brushes or an airless sprayer, depending on the type of surface being cleaned. The Tavec product reacts with the paint, dissolving even the most hardwearing of coatings and coverings layer by layer, but not penetrating the substrate. Over a period of several hours the paint expands into an inert detached residue, which we then clean off with a DOFF low-pressure cleaning system to ensure the surface does not suffer saturation problems.
The resulting residue can be disposed of easily as it is biodegradable and totally harmless.
Working within environmental constraints
Tavec products are ideal for the removal of interior or exterior masonry paints because their chemical composition has the power to breakdown even the toughest sealants and protective layers, without producing hazardous fumes, waste or by-products.
It is perfect for use in large, built-up areas where project parameters may dictate a low noise process that does not create unacceptable acoustic pollution outside of normal site working hours.
All by-products created using Tavec cleaning solutions are environmentally friendly and biodegradable, so can be disposed of easily, without any environmental concerns.
