In order to cleanse surfaces of all kinds of paint, including cosmetic and functional coverings without using abrasive blasting or creating dust control concerns, VariBlast is able to deploy the Tensid TAVEC solution.
We have used this chemical process in a number of demanding and challenging locations, producing completely paint free surfaces as a result.
Ranging from marine and industrial engineering projects, through to residential and commercial buildings, we have the experience to fulfil the parameters of your project’s paint cleansing requirements.
The TAVEC Paint Removal system is applied using brushes or airless spray paint systems and it reacts with the paint, dissolving even the most hardwearing of coatings and coverings.
In the first instance, an analysis of the existing paint layer is conducted which specifies the length of the treatment required.
During the treatment the chemical permeates the paint through to the substrate before expanding into an inert detached residue.
As a final step in the process, a low volume, low pressure cleaning technique, such as pressure washing, is used to remove this remaining inert material.
The TAVEC system is ideal for the removal of interior or exterior masonry paints because its chemical composition has the power to breakdown even the toughest sealants and protective layers.
It is perfect for use in large, built-up areas where your project parameters dictate a silent solution that does not create acoustic pollution outside of normal site working hours.
All by-products created by the TAVEC cleaning solution are environmentally friendly and can be disposed of easily.
Our comprehensive service will ensure all the requirements of your project are met, this includes a full complement of working personnel, together with the appropriate equipment to complete the task to the highest standards.
