QinetiQ Test Rails
Refurbishment 2018
VariBlast were contracted by QinetiQ to refurbish 1,500lm of steels rails on the 1.5km test and evaluation track at the ‘MOD Pendine Firing Range’ facility in Wales.
All steel surfaces were cleaned using dry blasting and prepared to an Sa2.5 (white steel) surface preparation standard and then painted with a two coat water based ‘Neutrarust’ paint system, supplied by Global Corrosion Solutions Ltd.
