Full Hangar Refurbishment: Flooring and Steelwork

We completed a full refurbishment of an aircraft hangar back in 2020, working as a subcontractor for Kier. This project is a great example of the specialist services we offer for large-scale hangars, providing a complete package from floor preparation and coatings to steelwork restoration.

Our work included:

• Floor preparation: Using a high-performance blasting system to remove old coatings and contaminants, ensuring the concrete surface was clean and ready for treatment.

• Concrete sealing and coating: Sealing the floor, followed by the application of durable floor coatings in the specified colour.

• Joint refurbishment: Removing and reapplying sealant in all floor joints to ensure durability.
• Steelwork restoration: Cleaning, preparing, and treating all steel structures within the hangar to maintain structural integrity and improve appearance.

This project highlights our ability to deliver end-to-end hangar refurbishment, combining floor preparation, coating, joint maintenance, and steelwork into a single coordinated package.
