Work experience Having worked within the surface preparation and coatings industry for nearly 20 years, I have now been at the helm of VariBlast Ltd since 2008. I have had the pleasure of meeting some interesting and inspiring people along the way, enabling me to learn new management skills every day.

Peter Collyer

Responsibilities Responsible for generating Quotations and Producing H&S documentation along with keeping our accreditations up to date.

Work experience Having joined VariBlast back in May ‘19 leaving another contractor after 8 years of service where I mostly concentrated on estimating.

Responsibilities Varied administrative work, record keeping, timesheets, and keeping the office tidy!

Work experience Nearly 40 years secretarial experience in a variety of different organisations

David Marsh

Responsibilities Bookkeeping, Payroll & HR

Work experience David has over 45 years of experience in a variety of organisations ranging from large scale Construction related organisations to the Leisure & Tourism industry. David has been involved with VariBlast Ltd since the company was incorporated back in 2008.

Tim Bedborough

Job title Systems Development & Support

Responsibilities Analysis of current systems, assistance in co-ordinated commercial systems including but not limited to pricing, health and safety documentation, job cost analysis, HR and document control.

Work experience My 10 years prior to joining VariBlast was spent within the construction industry in an administrative role. This consisted of assisting with IT, HR, Health & Safety, motor fleet management, and accreditation compliance. Prior to that was a 25 year career in the UK commercial insurance sector as an insurance broker helping organisations with their asset and liability insurance requirements.

Will Keys

Job title SMSTS Supervisor

Responsibilities On site Manager of projects across the country, maintaining client relations whilst delivering clear instruction and feedback across all operations of an operational site.

Work experience I have worked for VariBlast Ltd since February 2016 when I started as a general labourer. Some six years later I am now progressing through the business nicely and enjoying my current role as a SMSTS Manager and bringing the next generation through the business.
