EPR Glanford

“VariBlast carried out some 42m² of shot blasting inside the furnace at EPR Glanford. This work was carried out in a professional manner with the operatives working in confined space conditions.  The work was completed to a high standard and with no incidents or accidents.

Our clients were highly satisfied with the work and (remove with as already said once) the safe manner in which it was undertaken.   Risk assessments and method statements were produced prior to the work commencing so that the client could produce a Permit to Work ready for an overnight scheduled start to the outage on a very tight programme.  All their work was completed on time and the work area cleared for the start of shift the next morning.

All in all, a very professional company with good staff and reliable equipment.    I would also add that their operatives had to do two inductions prior to the start of their shift, one from the client including a Permit to Work Acceptors and one from ourselves.”
