How can Variblast manage the dust on-site? How do we prevent the accumulation of dust and deployed blast media within confined sites and operational areas?
Variblast offers a detailed particle management service that operates within closed environments. Perfect for particular blasting requirements where creating an enclosed space is not financially viable.
There are considerable advantages to using this system, such as less need for protective sheeting and scaffolding. Although vacuum blasting will take considerably longer to treat the same area when compared to other conventional blasting systems, it provides a perfect solution to specific site constraints.
Vacuum blasting uses a dual purpose tool that both supplies the blast media and collects the spend media, together with the dislocated particulate. It is removed from the blasting area via a high pressure suction hose, which is connected to a fully sealed waste storage containment bin.
Our portable systems can be used with different types of blast media to achieve the finish you require.
Often vacuum blasting is required as part of a larger refurbishment project. As industry professionals, Variblast has established communication procedures to streamline co-ordination with your other contractors. Alongside vacuum blasting, we can also treat and prepare the finished substrate layer ready for the application of protective or decorative coatings.
In the first instance, we always recommend meeting with our clients to discuss the constraints of your project. This allows us to expand on how we plan to not only deliver the blasting, but also the other essential aspects of our solution.
