Aircraft hangar refurbishment

A collection of projects completed across the UK

International Aviation Academy Norwich

One of our specialist services is aircraft hangar refurbishment, we have completed and are currently working on hangars ranging in size from 3000m² upwards at locations across the UK. We provide a complete service covering access, cleaning, painting and the removal of all hazardous waste.

When dealing with the removal of hazardous materials, such as lead paint we carry out three weekly health surveillance checks on all operatives and provide decontamination chambers in and out of the works area.

Cleaning and repainting large and complex steel structures requires minute attention to detail. We strip coat all welds, bolts, rivets and leading edges and abrasive blast clean to Sa2.5 / Sa2 / Sa1 or power tool abrade to St3.

Once cleaned to the required specification single or twin pack epoxy coatings are applied using airless sprayers. We also provide an epoxy floor coating service as part of our complete aircraft hangar refurbishment service.
