Surface Preparation and Painting within a Furnace
VariBlast were contracted by EPRL to attend Eye Power Station in Suffolk to carry out confined-space dry blast cleaning services within internal areas of both the furnace and ash hoppers there.
All measured areas were to be blast cleaned to an Sa 2.5 specification, followed by the application of a heat tolerant paint system called Interplus 256, manufactured by International Paints.
