DOFF CLEANING

HIGH TEMPERATURE, LOW PRESSURE CLEANSING FOR INTRICATE AND DETAILED SURFACE REMOVAL OF PAINT, GRAFFITI, ALGAE AND GENERAL DIRT AND GRIME

Working at a temperature of 150ºC at the nozzle and using only 5 litres of dispersed water per minute, this superheated water system is ideal for projects require a more delicate cleaning method, reducing volume of water required and the need for a chemical biocide during the removal of unwanted elements. The system delivers hot water at low pressure ensuring no surface damage on a range of materials, such as brick, stone, concrete, tiles and terracotta.

Working with conservation agencies, renovation specialists and architects, VariBlast has used the DOFF surface preparation technique with outstanding results on a range of different projects. Because of our experience and knowledge, we are able to advise and specify the best cleaning solution for any task.

An energy and resource efficient solution

The DOFF cleaning system heats up the water used in the cleaning mix to a maximum of 150ºC, this allows the use of less aggressive levels of pressure and ensures the surface being cleaned does not suffer from thermal shock or deep saturation. Drying times are usually within a few minutes.

The reduced amount of water used by the DOFF system makes it the ideal choice for sites where there are limited resources or when working areas are above busy public thoroughfares or walkways.

Careful and precise cleaning

Because DOFF is a low pressure cleaning system, it is the preferred method for cleaning listed buildings, intricate stone work and delicate surfaces.

The high temperature steam and pressure of the system can be adjusted by our skilled operators to ensure no damage to the substrate being cleaned, and it’s usually dry within minutes.

If necessary, we can arrange a visit to your site and provide a demonstration of our steam superheated water cleaning system, so you can see for yourself its capabilities and uses. The cost of this service is fully deductible should you decide to go ahead with our services.

We always recommend our clients meet with us to discuss all the details of their project so we can provide an accurate and competitive price.

Our service includes supplying all the facilities and equipment required to complete your project to the best possible standard, on time and within budget.
