Off-site coating application

We typically apply protective coatings on-site, but that’s only part of the service we provide. Although not shown much, we also use high-quality shop-applied paint systems in controlled off-site environments, ensuring flexibility for our clients.

On this project, our team undertook the preparation and coating of structural steelwork parts off site and prior to installation. Working in a controlled environment allows for stable conditions for coating application, and improved quality control across every stage of the process. This not only enhances the performance of the system but also helps to streamline project timelines.

Off-site application can be particularly beneficial where site conditions are restrictive. By completing coatings in advance, installation can proceed more efficiently, reducing time spent on site without compromising on quality. Our ability to deliver both shop-applied and on-site coatings provides us as a flexible contractor, able to seamlessly support projects to completion.
